Consumer Price Index
Latest Highlights Jul 2026
In July 2026, the overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.02 per cent on a year-on-year basis compared to July 2025. This was contributed by an increase of 1.2 per cent in the Food and Non-Alcoholic
Beverages index, while the Non-Food index registered a decrease of 0.3 per cent. Meanwhile, the Goods index increased by 0.3 per cent, while the Services index decreased by 0.3 per cent.
Compared to June 2026, the CPI decreased by 0.2 per cent on a month-on-month basis, contributed by decreases of 0.1 per cent and 0.2 per cent in the Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index and the Non-Food index respectively.
Periodically, the CPI for January to July 2026 recorded an overall decrease of 0.02 per cent compared to the same period in 2025
